A clever WhatsApp trick that allows you to read messages in full, even WITHOUT opening the application
It’s late, your phone is rattling against the nightstand, a familiar glow breaks through the gloom. Someone wants your attention.
Whether it’s your boss pestering you with yet another reminder, a former “just checking” or even more tiresome banter from a group chat you were about to leave. Now is not the time.
Despite wanting to roll over and ignore the notification, the seed is planted. You must know what the message says. But the last thing you want to do is tell the sender that you’ve read it.
But there is a clever solution.

STEP ONE: Keep the homepage on your phone.

STEP TWO: Tap Widgets and the home screen will display all available specific widgets. Find the WhatsApp widget and drag it to the home screen.
The only downside is that this feature is only for Android users.
But iPhone owners can, of course, turn off reading receipts in WhatsApp itself so that no one sees those two little blue checkmarks.
But that also means you can’t see when others are reading your posts.

STEP THREE: Click “Done” when the widget is successfully moved to the home page.

STEP FOUR: You can also make it full screen, which makes it easier to read.
How to read long messages without notifying others?
So, first you need to hold the home page on your phone.
You will then need to tap Widgets and the home screen will display all available specific widgets.
At this point, you need to find the WhatsApp widget and drag it to the home screen.
Then click “Done” when the widget is successfully moved to the home page. You can also make it full screen, which makes the message easier to read.
After that, scroll down to read all your messages (the most recent one will be at the top).
And remember. – do not click on the message itself, otherwise this handy trick will be in vain!
