According to One Nation New South Wales leader Mark Latham, today many Australians “do not recognize” the Liberal and National parties because of their movement to the left.
“So, at One Nation, we’re running twice as many seats as we were four years ago, and we’re running the traditional common sense politics,” he told Sky News anchor Pete Kredlin.
“The great paradox in Australian politics is that in the 1990s, in the Hawke-Howard-Costello era, we had a settlement, a policy that worked, has now been thrown into the dustbin, and many people are wondering why this happened.”
