The satellite captured images of Tropical Cyclone Freddie making landfall on the island of Madagascar on Tuesday, Feb. 21, according to the Collaborative Institute for Atmospheric Research (CIRA), which posted the video online. French meteorological agency Meteo France said Freddie had to make landfall on the east coast of Madagascar on Tuesday evening due to strong winds and dangerous sea conditions. The storm was expected to intensify again before making landfall in Mozambique for the second time later in the week, Meteo France reported. Credit: CIRA via Storyful
