A report by Danny Weidler of Nine News indicated that there were no problems with the players in the city, instead the incident took place at the team’s hotel in Mudgee.

The club released a statement shortly after Weidler’s report went on the air, saying they would investigate further to determine if any action was required.
“The Dragons are aware of a verbal altercation that took place between the two players at the team’s hotel on Sunday morning,” the statement said.

The club is yet to comment.
