Sahir, Bahrain Lewis Hamilton admitted on Thursday that he expects more trouble at the start of this season, but responded to observers who suggested Mercedes’ underspeed was the reason he didn’t sign a new contract.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday, the 38-year-old seven-time world champion admitted that Mercedes is “not where we want to be.”
“On the positive side, the lack of bouncing is a huge plus,” he added.
