Arriving at the British film industry’s Oscars with her husband Prince William, the royal drew attention on the red carpet in a dress she previously wore to the 2019 awards. But she transformed the look by redesigning her shoulders and wearing opera gloves.

Making their first appearance at the annual awards ceremony in three years, the couple were one of the most anticipated guests at London’s Royal Festival Hall. The princess was one of several stars who opted for a black and white palette for an evening dedicated to William’s late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
William, who has been President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 2010, meanwhile kept to the classic black tie dress code in a velvet tuxedo.

Elsewhere on the Sunday red carpet, it was a night of relatively simple fashion. Jamie Lee Curtis stunned with a black and white ensemble, while Julianne Moore paired a black draped bustier dress with a white feather jacket.
