A World Obesity Foundation study predicts that more than half of the world’s population will be overweight and obese within 12 years if prevention, treatment and support do not improve.
The report also projects that the global economic burden of overweight and obesity will be $4.32 trillion, or roughly 2.9% of global GDP. You can read the full report Here.
