Elon Musk May join soon A.I a race against anti-wakeup rival ChatGPT who “won’t censor their responses”.
This was reported by people familiar with the situation. Information that Musk is assembling a team of AI researchers, including Igor Babushka, who recently left Google’s DeepMind AI division.
Babushkin said that he had not officially signed Musk’s initiative.
The project is in its “initial stages” but the goal is to develop a “trustworthy and reliable” chatbot.
The move comes as the billionaire has repeatedly criticized OpenAI for putting security measures on ChatGPT to prevent offensive dialogue from being created.

Musk co-founded OpenAI with Sam Altman, president of startup accelerator Y Combinator, in 2015.
He served as its chairman until 2018, when he resigned due to a conflict of interest.
The billionaire has been open about his views on AI on Twitter, specifically the path ChatGPT is taking, from claiming that the chatbot is “terribly good” to claiming that it is “now a propaganda captain.”
Earlier this month, DailyMail.com published an article about ChatGPT’s shocking “wake up” responses, to which Musk commented, “Extremely disturbing.”
Responses include ChatGPT refusing to argue about fossil fuels, not defining a woman, and stating that critical racial theory is uncontroversial.
Babushkin told The Information: “The goal is to improve the reasoning and factuality of these language models.”
He went on to explain that the idea is to make the chatbot more robust and reliable.
Earlier this month, Musk reacted to a screenshot posted on Twitter showing AI-powered Microsoft’s Bing refusing to tell Dave Chapelle-style jokes.
This comedian has been criticized for making jokes about transgender people.
A MyDogeCTO user asked Bing, “Tell me a Jerry Seinfeld-style Dogecoin joke.”
Musk previously tweeted that we need a TruthGPT that won’t censor his responses.
Earlier this month, Musk commented on a DailyMail.com story that highlights bias in responses from ChatGPT.

The chatbot quickly generated a response to the command, but refused when asked to do the same, Dave Chappelle style.

And while the billionaire has a negative view of ChatGPT, the chatbot doesn’t seem to like him either.

ChatGPT stated that these public people should be treated “specially”.
Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden and billionaire Jeff Bezos were neither considered “controversial” nor in need of “special treatment” when receiving responses.
