The body was found during the search missing british woman Laurel Aldridge Friday.
Aldridge, sister-in-law of actor Mackenzie Crook, was last photographed leaving her home in Walburton, West Sussex on February 14.
The 62-year-old woman was last seen near the Slindon Cricket Club, which is 2.5 miles from her home.
Authorities have not confirmed that the body is hers, but Aldridge’s son Matthew announced on Facebook that his mother’s body had been found.

“After a long and exhausting search, we found Laurel today,” Matthew wrote. “We can share that she was found lying in a beautiful forest, and now she is calm.”
“We will miss her every day but we are so proud of everything she has accomplished in her 62 years on this earth,” the post continued. “Laurel was a wonderful, creative, extremely intelligent person who taught us all the meanings of empathy, reliability and love.”

The grieving son also asked for privacy and thanked his community for supporting his family during the search.
Aldridge’s brother-in-law, Mackenzie Crook, is known not only for acting, but also for starring in Pirates of the Caribbean. Gareth Keenan in The Office.
Crook had previously asked the British public to look for his missing daughter-in-law in the West Sussex area.

“She left the house only in what was on her, without keys and without a phone. She has not been seen since,” Crook said on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

“She missed the fifth session of chemotherapy last Tuesday, and we think that this is what caused her some kind of crisis, and she went somewhere for a long walk,” he added.
