The new Enhanced Income Management smart card is “exactly the same” as a cashless debit card, says Shadow Health Secretary Ann Ruston.
“To say that the cashless debit card has been canceled is simply misleading,” she told Sky News Australia.
The smart card will replace the cashless debit card from next week, with the Northern Territory being the only state where the card is mandatory.
